Single pendulum principle:

The movable jaw is hung on the mandrel and can swing left and right. When the eccentric shaft rotates, the connecting rod reciprocates up and down, driving the two thrust plates to reciprocate, so as to push the movable jaw to reciprocate left and right to achieve crushing and unloading. This type of crusher adopts a crank double connecting rod mechanism. Although there is a large crushing reaction force on the movable jaw, but its eccentric shaft and connecting rod are not stressed, so it is made into large and medium-sized machines in industry. To break hard materials. In addition, when this crusher is working, the movement trajectory of each point on the movable jaw is an arc centered on the mandrel. The radius of the arc is equal to the distance from the point to the axis. The upper arc is small and the lower arc is large. The crushing efficiency is low, and the crushing ratio is generally 3-6. Because of the simple movement trajectory, it is called a simple swinging jaw crusher.
The simple pendulum jaw crusher has a compact and simple structure, and the transmission components such as the eccentric shaft are less stressed. Because the vertical displacement of the movable jaw is small, the material is less excessively broken during processing, and the wear of the movable jaw plate is less.

Compound pendulum principle:

The upper end of the movable jaw is directly hung on the eccentric shaft. As the connecting rod of the crank connecting rod mechanism, it is directly driven by the eccentricity of the eccentric shaft. The lower end of the movable jaw is hingedly supported on the rear wall of the frame. When the eccentric shaft rotates, the movement trajectory of each point on the movable jaw is changed from the circumferential line of the suspension point (the radius is equal to the eccentric distance), and gradually changes downward into an ellipse. The trajectory of the connection point is an arc. Because the trajectory of each point on the movable jaw in this machine is relatively complex, it is called a complex swinging jaw crusher.
Compared with the simple pendulum type, the compound pendulum type jaw crusher has the advantages of lighter weight, fewer components, more compact structure, better filling degree in the crushing cavity, and evenly crushing the loaded material blocks, and then moving the lower end of the jaw. The finished product discharge is mandatory, so the productivity is higher, which is 20-30% higher than the simple swing jaw crusher of the same specification; the material block has a large up and down rolling motion at the lower part of the moving jaw, which is easy to take the shape of a cube Unload.
